Come on down to Dog and Duck Pub to enjoy a cold pint, a smooth cigar, the cool October air, and the company of fellow dog-lovers - all to celebrate the hard work of Guide Dogs of Texas volunteers.
Austin, come out to toast their success!
These fantastic workers get to lounge in the Biergarten and enjoycomplimentary food and beverages -- and maybe a cigar and some football. (The inside bar and outside front patio are also open for business, so come on down!)
Why should you care? Because programs like Pawsitive Approach have achieved zero recidivism - and there's simply nothing is better than a fuzzy, well-trained buddy to help when you're blind.

What's this Pawsitive Approach Program about, anyway?
Here in Texas, we're not about to run out of inmates, dogs, or folks who need a hand. Let's help GDTX put all the pieces together and create the magic process that saves our justice system thousands of dollars - our tax dollars - and places eager-to-help dogs with truly appreciative Texas families. Everybody wins!
